Dealing With Global Warming
Global warming is a problem that everybody should be concerned about. The weather is in disarray.
Some of the continents have been feeling it lately. It is not only affecting the environment but the entire human race. Do you know that global warming directly affects financial matters and the spread of disease. Maybe the reason why the swine flu has spread so quickly is because of global warming. Who knows? It is possible. Flu outbreaks usually happen in the cooler months. Since the weather has been so erratic lately it can been the reason why everybody is sick. The human body cannot deal with the changing temperature. One minute it so hot, the next minute it is so cold.
The more obvious effects of global warming is its impact on the glaciers. The continued increase in the global temperature continue to melt the glaciers. Thus, there is in a rise in the sea level which affects the ecosystem which directly affects us too. It is called the circle of life. So when there is no balance, everybody is affected. If it is not corrected, there is a chance for extinction. There is a delicate balance that we should abide to.
There are a couple of ways we can do to help out. The electricity that we use is based on the burning of coal. So if one would limit the use of electricity, one is also reducing the problem in global warming. Plus, you get to breathe cleaner air and you get to save money. Another way to help out is by limiting the use of one’s car. You can either opt for public transport or join forces with your classmates or officemates for a carpool options. By doing so, one contributes in the reduction of greenhouse gas emission. Of course, you get to
save on gas money and oil too. Another great way to help out is through recycling. Recycling is easy to do and it is hygienic too.
All of the ways by which we can help out are doable. But it would take a lot of effort from all of us because it could be a little inconvenient. Although it can be done because all it takes is our commitment to care.
